So impressed by the work being done and ongoing health needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. The work by all at @yerin_eleanorduncan_ahs is very inspiring, I was especially moved by the importance of a healthcare journey navigator service.
Longest ride:
615km, 10k and 25hr - around Falls Ck, Mt Hotham, Rosewhite when the other roads were closed after the Jan 2020 bushfires.
Favourite cycling memory: Riding around Beechworth-Wangaratta rail trails with my son.
Funniest on-bike moment: Stopped just after dawn by a large flock of sheep on Monaro plain road, shepherded thru by a farmer on quad bike - “follow me, they won’t know what you are.”

Tips for endurance riding: Hill repeats and 1-3hr zone 2 rides on the trainer, make it a bit easier.
Tips for cycling mums/women: Go for it, enjoy your endurance advantage.
How do you juggle work/family/cycling? Communication, hang the washing out in the dark, balance and get up early.
How do I get into cycling? Sprint triathlon bike leg, Local club with a youth program and family friends.
What would you say to someone contemplating joining us?
Great opportunity, great excuse to get even fitter and contribute to a very worthy cause.
