Why are you riding with @alpineeveresting?
I am riding for the challenge and to enjoy doing something worthwhile as a family with Mel and Alani.
Longest ride: In distance it would be 228k Grafton to Inverell (2009) for time it would be a 12 hour challenge on Zwift (about 320km).
Favourite cycling moment: Completing Grafton to Inverell in 2009, club racing with my kids (James and Alani), a gravel riding adventure with Mel and my brother (which involved scrambling through landslides!).
Greatest sporting achievement: Completing 20 laps of the Mirrim Wurnit last one standing race. That’s about 133km over a 6.7km course through hilly paddocks. I outlasted some much better runners and was totally spent (and very injured) by the end!
Favourite event: Northface 100/UTA100 when it was a smaller race. Self-created events are the best though.
Favourite endurance fuel: Whatever works on the day. Just have lots of choice.
Coffee order: No thanks.
Favourite workout music: Something with a beat.
Favourite climb: Comboyne, Gingers (Oxley Highway).
How many bikes do you own? 3 (road, MTB and gravel), although I think there are a total of 14 bikes in the family (not including the ones the kids of out grown)
Tips for endurance riding:
 Train as much as you can, but arrive at the start line injury free.
