Towel & Steel Water Bottle

Our amazing fundraising items feature artwork by Wiradjuri artist, Jodi Shannon, who lost her nephew Beau to leukaemia, aged 5yo. Beau’s Mum Brooke Harb also contributed to the artwork. We are so fortunate to have these incredible women supporting our cause.
All proceeds will go towards addressing the disparities in cancer outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Fundraising Projects

Our fundraising themes focus on inspiring and motivating community to live fit, healthy and active lives throughout all ages and context.
1. To empower strength and the tenacity to work through challenge and adversity (climbing the mountains in life).
2. To embrace the values and heart of the Tour de Cure family.
3. Education and awareness about how cancer impacts Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and how to improve these cancer outcomes.

  • Check out Tour de Cure's Fundraising Guide HERE.
Since it's beginning in 2007, Tour de Cure has raised over $70 million, funded over 550 cancer projects & contributed to 48 scientific cancer breakthroughs.
Tour de Cure is committed to curing cancer and has highlighted the cancer inequalities experienced by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community as an area needing particular attention. This initiative will go a long way towards closing the gap.
Our Alpine Everesting event partnership with Tour de Cure will focus on directing the $80K+ raised towards improving cancer outcomes for Aboriginal people who are greatly disadvantaged when accessing cancer treatment and support services.
Acknowledgement of Country
We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we ride. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present, and honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of the many nations over which we roam. We are so grateful to have passage through your country and we commit to building a bright future together.
